La Trobe University has been one of Australia's pioneering universities for more than 50 years. In 1967, 552 students enrolled at La Trobe University, the third university to open in Victoria, which has grown to accommodate more than 36,000 students, with over 7,000 international students from 110 countries. Over 250,000 students have graduated from La Trobe University thus far, with alumni hailing from 168 countries around the world.

With support provided at our campus libraries and online, our library staff are here to support you through your learning journey from borrowing, evaluating information and referencing to help boost your chances of succeeding.
Computer labs are located across various La Trobe campuses, and general-use computers are available in our libraries, with access to wireless internet available across all campuses. Microsoft 365 is available to students, providing access to essential tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. La Trobe also have a dedicated team for all your IT needs.
The La Trobe University Medical Centre provides medical services to students, staff and the community. Located on our Bundoora Campus, this Clinic provides bulk billing for La Trobe University students and staff. International students with an Overseas Health Cover (OSHC) card may also access these services at no additional cost. Students also have access to a range of health and wellbeing services during their studies, including free counselling support and access to La Trobe’s Wellbeing Resource Hub.
