History
For over 30 years Católica Porto Business School has trained professionals in Management and Economics who follow national and international careers.
Education
Católica Porto Business School boasts strong connections to practice, enabling a tight fit between skills development and market needs. Our teaching is characterized by a close engagement with students, as well as constant innovation of programmes and pedagogical methods. Students develop a global mindset by completing courses in multiple countries and cultures through exchange or double degree programmes, by participating in international weeks, by engaging in teamwork with international students, and through the completion of the many courses taught in English by invited professors from our international partnership network.
Research
Research at Católica Porto Business School combines the highest standards of scientific rigor with impact on businesses and society. It is organized in different centres and labs: CEGE, a research centre accredited by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology, focusing on fundamental research; two applied research labs – S.Lab and Lead.Lab – focusing on Service Management and Leadership, respectively; and CEGEA, focusing on consultancy and development of national and sectorial policies.
Career
Our undergraduate programs include the development of hard and soft skills for immediate employability or for continuing postgraduate education in the best schools worldwide. At the master level, we develop expert professionals according to functional or industry areas. In executive education, we offer MBA programmes and courses in specialised areas for lifelong learning. Presently, the School offers programmes in Portugal, Angola, Brazil and Mozambique and continues working on its expansion to new geographies.

The campus hosts several other schools and comprises seven buildings. The four shared buildings are an example of our collaborative and interdisciplinary culture.
Facilities managed by CPBS have an adequate mix of auditoria, large and small classrooms, closed study rooms, and open study areas.
To face the challenges of hybrid teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic, all the classrooms were adequately equipped with cameras and sound equipment.
The study rooms are open 24/7, and the School offers open and closed spaces, where students from different nationalities socialize and work together towards their integral development as individuals and global citizens.
Housing services
Católica Porto does not have student residences.
Nonetheless, there are private accommodation options available, adjusted to suit your needs.

Library services
The School has an unique Library and bookstore, with 1,250m2, 145 workstations and 7 search terminals.
ICT services
Yes. There are several working stations provided on campus, equipped with computers, printers and wi-fi. A set of Information System platforms are used in the support of the School’s activities.
A Wi-Fi network is available throughout the campus. Every student has a personal profile on the servers, as well as a personal email.

Católica Porto Business School is located at UCP’s Foz Campus, just a 5-minute walk from the sea and from supermarkets and other resvices.
The campus hosts several other schools and comprises seven buildings - Central, Arts, Restoration, Biotechnology, Américo Amorim, Paraíso and Canteen – that hosts 7 UCP’s schools: Católica Porto Business School, Law School,Arts School, School of Education and Psychology, Theology School,
School of Nursing, School of Biotechnology.
The School has an unique Library and bookstore, spread across three floors
