I would like if it was more diverse
It's the most beautiful campus I've ever been too, it's a pleasure to study here. Children come playing in the campus garden during the day because it's so beautiful, and open to anyone, but it's never too crowded or noisy. This said, a lot of facilities are old, but still functional. There are some bars in the campus (included Starbucks and Subway) and a couple of convenience stores. Not a huge social scene for international students though.
My stay at federal university of minna
My experience at FUT Minna was fraught with challenges and disappointments. From the outset, the university's administrative inefficiencies were glaring. Registration processes were convoluted, often requiring multiple visits to various offices, which wasted valuable time and energy. Accommodation was another major issue. The hostels were overcrowded and poorly maintained, with inadequate water and power supply, making daily life a constant struggle. Academically, the experience was equally disheartening. Many lecturers were either unavailable or unapproachable, making it difficult to seek guidance or clarification on course materials. The lack of adequate teaching aids and modern laboratory equipment further hampered the learning process, leading to a reliance on outdated methods and materials. Additionally, frequent strikes by academic and non-academic staff disrupted the academic calendar, prolonging the duration of studies unnecessarily. Socially, the campus environment was not conducive to fostering a sense of community. Security was a persistent concern, with numerous reports of theft and harassment within and around the university premises. Extracurricular activities, which are essential for a balanced university experience, were poorly organized and underfunded. Overall, my time at FUT Minna was marked by frustration and unmet expectations. The university's numerous shortcomings overshadowed any potential positives, leaving me with a sense of dissatisfaction and a longing for a more supportive and efficient educational environment.
