ARWU World University rankings is the first world university ranking. It ranks the world's top 1000 colleges and universities based on objective indicator. They look at the number of award-winning (Fields Medals and Nobel Prize) scientists who are located there, how much of their research is cited and referenced around the world, and how much they've contributed to different academic fields. After calculating and comparing these criteria, ARWU ranks the universities accordingly.
Housing services
As a campus university, Keele has over 2,800 bedrooms on site, all within a short walk of the centre of campus.
All accommodation is based on campus, meaning you’ll be in walking distance from your classes and all the amazing facilities, including the library, shops, and student bar. There are also acres of green space to explore, relax in or take part in outdoor pursuits. You’ll find accommodation that suits you and your budget.

Campus life
Everything is on your doorstep at Keele. Our beautiful campus is self-contained with student accommodation, teaching buildings, restaurants and cafés, a sports centre, bars, and a medical centre all within just a few minutes’ walk.
It’s a big campus but a small and cosmopolitan community, with space to think and plenty to do. You will get to enjoy the benefits of both a campus community, and an exciting town and city to explore.
Sports facilities
The Sports Centre is home to our Fitness Centre and Functional Fitness Space, which cater for all of your training needs, from performance through to casual training, in a friendly and supportive environment.

- Keele University International College students will be encouraged to get involved in wider campus activities. You will be able to find out more about the various clubs and societies upon orientation, as well as during Freshers’ Week.
