The East China Institute of Politics and Law was founded by a merger of the law departments of Fudan University, Nanjing University, Anhui University, Aurora University, Shanghai College, Soochow University, the political departments of Fudan University, Nanjing University, the University of Shanghai, St. John's University and the sociology department of the University of Shanghai.
Actively promoting international cooperation, ECUPL has entered into partnerships with over 170 universities, international organizations and academic institutions overseas, and has been working with partner universities to offer two joint programs approved by the Ministry of Education.

At ECUPL, students, faculty and staff study, work and live on two campuses-Changning campus located in Shanghai city center and Songjiang campus located in Songjiang University Town.
Originally built in the late 19th century and boasting unique architecture blending eastern and western styles, the ECUPL Changning campus mainly serves as the campus for master degree students, PhD candi dates and international students.
The Songjiang campus was established in 2003 and similar to the Changning campus, the architectural style of the Songjiang campus infuses classic elegance with modern vitality. Undergraduate students and some post- graduates study and live on this campus.

Italian law universities have low fees and good reputation. Padua and Pavia are best for law. I hope there are more scholarships for international students. Overall good experience researching.
