The East China Institute of Politics and Law was founded by a merger of the law departments of Fudan University, Nanjing University, Anhui University, Aurora University, Shanghai College, Soochow University, the political departments of Fudan University, Nanjing University, the University of Shanghai, St. John's University and the sociology department of the University of Shanghai.
Actively promoting international cooperation, ECUPL has entered into partnerships with over 230 universities, international organizations and academic institutions overseas, and has been working with partner universities to offer two joint programs approved by the Ministry of Education.
ECUPL regards scientific research as a core driving force for institutional development and implements the strategy of “Prospering the University through Academia”. It operates a two level university college research management system and carries out evaluation reforms to break the “Five Only” mindset, adopting multi dimensional assessment and representative work evaluation mechanisms.

Italian law universities have low fees and good reputation. Padua and Pavia are best for law. I hope there are more scholarships for international students. Overall good experience researching.
