Best sports faculty and amazing location

Although the buildings are a bit old and could use some work, the atmosphere at this faculty is absolutely amazing, especially because we are located right in the middle of Jamor with access to so many football fields, pavilions, swimming pools and even the river, which makes the whole student experience much more practical and unique, plus the professors are always very attentive and helpful to everyone, so I honestly believe I couldn't ask for a better place to study sports and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves this field.

Bachelors in Informatic Engineering at FCUL

I did a Bachelors in Informatic Engineering at Faculdade de Cincias da Universidade de Lisboa and I really liked it. The program is complete, with subjects in mathematics and informatics. The overall environment is pretty relaxed, being the college life or the classes, that while some are more difficult, it is always acessible.

A demanding school, but one that prepares you for the field.

Overall, I had a very good experience at IHECS. Its biggest strength is its highly practical and professional focus: lots of group work, projects, presentations, and exercises that closely resemble what you'll do later in an agency or company. You learn to structure a communication strategy, produce content, pitch, manage deadlines, and it pushes you to excel. The teachers are generally competent and you can feel a real connection with the professional world. The atmosphere is also quite good: you meet motivated and creative people, and you learn a lot by collaborating. However, you must be prepared for a very heavy workload (especially with assignments and submissions). The organization can sometimes be a little unclear (instructions that change, expectations that aren't always crystal clear depending on the course), and since there are many groups, the quality sometimes depends on the level of involvement of others. Ultimately, I recommend IHECS to those who want a demanding, field-oriented school and are ready to commit fully. If you're looking for something very theoretical or more "relaxed," it's not necessarily the ideal place.
