Our University, despite its recent establishment, originates from three historical and dynamic educational and research entities in the region Attica, the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, the Piraeus University of Applied Sciences and the National School of Public Health, which has produced thousands of graduates and contributed to the development of the country and also worldwide.

In the context of providing more effective support to all undergraduate and post-graduate students, UNIWA offers a range of services aimed at enhancing the students’ personal communication with the university, supporting them in the management of their studies as well as in dealing with any academic/personal difficulty, providing them with counseling and guidance, and at the same time ensuring that any issues that may arise during their studies are successfully resolved.
The University of West Attica does not have privately owned dormitories, that could ensure the free of charge accommodation to the students. However, the students are entitled to apply for free accommodation at the dormitory of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, under condition that their brothers or sisters are already registered students of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and they already stay at the dormitories of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Students also have access to the central libraries of the Egaleo Park, Ancient Olive Grove and Athens campuses. All the libraries dispose of specialized staff and the appropriate facilities to support students in their study and research. There are two gyms operating at the University of West Attica; one is placed at the Egaleo Park Campus and the other at the Ancient Olive Grove Campus, where stu-dents and staff of the University can be trained daily with exception of weekends. The rooms are fully equipped with fitness equipment while fitness staff guides and supervises any interested visitors.

Overall I really like my university. It has a good building, the tech we use is relatively new and overall the structure is pretty. I also like the curriculum because there is a variety of subjects you can choose from, ranging from software, to hardware and to networks. So if someone is interested in everything they can take up many classes. What I don't like is that some of the teachers are very unorganized and create a bad image of the department. For example, some of them will delay putting out grades by a lot which can cause several issues. Other than that, there are many teachers who like their job and very willing to help you with your questions.
I was studying there msc in energy systems. Poor communication with the teachers and the secretary. Overall its was mediocre experience for a master study. Now this master has stopped due to conflict with the Scottish university
Overall my university I believe it is average. Mostly because of the campus and the classes. The professors are mostly okay and in the important classes are great. My main problem is the lack of equipment and the poor management
