WHU was founded in 1984 at the initiative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Koblenz. Thirty years later and WHU is one of the most renowned German business schools with an exceptional national and international reputation.
WHU offers excellent study opportunities for people of any age and with a wide range of work experience. Next to the undergraduate (BSc in International Business Administration) and graduate programs (MSc in Management, MSc in Finance, MSc in Entrepreneurship), WHU offers Full-Time and Part-Time MBA programs, an Executive MBA program and Executive Education. This way, WHU contributes to and supports lifelong learning experiences.
High quality and groundbreaking research in the fields of management, economics, and business administration is one of the key pillars of excellence at WHU. The school places particular emphasis on creating a stimulating environment for independent research in business and economics topics, coupled with attracting and supporting high-profile researchers with the ultimate aim of delivering first-class research outcomes. WHU further pursues its mission by combining academic rigor with tangible, practical relevance in all its research activities.
From day one, we support you. As a Bachelor or Master student, we support you in developing your potential for a successful and seamless transition into the working world. As an MBA student, we support you in accelerating your career. Focusing on the development and individual needs of our diverse student groups on both campuses, the Career Center organizes a comprehensive range of activities and provides personal career counseling.
The WHU library offers an excellent research infrastructure to academics and students of WHU on a 24/7 basis. A self-service terminal allows to check out books at any time via the WHU-card. By using the 'book return box' books can be returned to the library even outside the business hours.
WHU is based on two campuses in Vallendar/Koblenz and Düsseldorf.
Student life at WHU is not just about studying - in their free time, our students enthusiastically pursue a wide range of extracurricular activities, making campus an exciting place to be. Whether you love sports, the theater, music, entrepreneurship, the community, debating, or are even partial to casual wine tasting, there truly is something for everyone.
External experts provide invaluable feedback that contributes to the continuous quality improvement at the Business School. WHU is currently accredited by EQUIS, AACSB, and FIBAA. Regular re-accreditations confirm that our Business School consistently meets or exceeds strict national and international standards.
