Student services
The welfare of our students is very important to us and we offer a range of welfare and academic services, including our Counselling Team, Disability Support Team, Mental Health Support Team, International Student Support Services, Centre for Faith and Spirituality and medical facilities. Support is available via our Student Services, Academic Language Support Services, which offers skills workshops, courses and online resources to help improve your academic English language skills, the Careers Network, the Mathematics Learning Support Centre and IT Services.
Housing services
We know how important it is to have a safe and secure place to live and study. Our Student Accommodation Centre is dedicated to helping students in finding a place, whether on or off campus. There are two postgraduate halls on campus and one close by, and we also offer advice on finding accommodation off campus.
Library services
The University Library provides a range of services to support you, including an inter-library loan service, access to over 100 databases and 30,000 electronic journals, flexible study spaces and free training opportunities. There is 24/7 access during revision and exam periods.
ICT services
Our services include software tools, online learning and teaching facilities, and access to the internet and email. We also have open access computer suites across campus, which are usually available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Most IT facilities are available 24 hours a day.
Medical services
The University has an on-campus medical centre which provides a range of GP and nurse appointments. Lifestyle checks and advice on all health-related issues are also available on a completely confidential basis.

We are home to around 18,000 students from over 130 different countries.
- Loughborough campus
Our 523-acre single-site campus has plenty of open spaces and gardens, including edible fruit trails, as well as fantastic sport and sector-leading facilities. There is something for everyone and it's all conveniently located on campus.
- London campus
Based on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, our dedicated postgraduate campus in London is home to a number of institutes and brings together influential thought leaders, pioneering researchers and creative innovators.
Sports facilities
Loughborough is home to the country’s largest concentration of world-class facilities across a wide range of sports. As a Loughborough student, you can access everything from high performance training venues to free recreational areas.
Student clubs
Loughborough Students’ Union has over 100 societies offering the chance to meet like-minded people from across the world and get involved in everything from arts to video gaming. There are also over 55 sports clubs in the Athletic Union.
