Preparing for a succesful career in HRM
Studying Human Resource Management at Avans University in Den Bosch has been an inspiring and highly practical experience. I loved how the program combines solid theoretical knowledge with hands-on learning through multiple internships, which truly prepared me for the realities of the workplace. The lecturers were approachable and supportive, encouraging curiosity and growth every step of the way. While the many internships were intense at times, they gave me confidence, real-world skills, and a clear sense of my future career path. Overall, my time at Avans has been both challenging and rewarding, leaving me motivated, well-prepared, and excited to take the next step in my academic and professional journey.
Tidy campus, pricey cafeteria
I am pretty satisfied with my choice of university so far. I like my teachers, my classmates, the organisation. The rooms are tidy and neat. I like the bike parking and I use it everyday. The bus stops are perfectly located near the building. There are no shops nearby, and the prices in the cafeteria are a bit high for me personally.
Advice to future students
To future students, I would like to share my experiences and offer some valuable insights. Firstly, embrace every opportunity to learn and grow, both inside and outside the classroom. College is not just about academics; it's a chance to explore new interests, meet diverse people, and expand your horizons. Stay organized and manage your time effectively. Balancing coursework, extracurricular activities, and a social life can be challenging, but with good time management, it's entirely manageable. Don't be afraid to seek help when needed, whether it's from professors, tutors, or counselors. There's no shame in asking for assistance, and it can make a significant difference in your academic journey. Finally, remember to take care of your well-being. College can be intense, so prioritize self-care and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Cherish the friendships and experiences that come your way, and make the most of this transformative chapter in your life.
