Founded in 1906, EDHEC is now one of Europe’s top 15 business schools. Research

EDHEC spends more than 20% of its resources on research – the core of its business model. Businesses and value creators benefit directly from research centres’ contribution, which guides major institutions in their global business.

Students are continuously exposed to EDHEC’s research, which is folded into effective learning experiences. They can also leverage the global knowledge shared by experts across the vast EDHEC community through the EDHEC Vox magazine and blog. This environment aims to foster the critical thinking, employability and expertise for which EDHEC is renowned.

Career

  • Career service: The EDHEC Career Centre is a one-stop-shop for career development. As of year 1, it offers an integrated career programme designed for you to define and achieve your career goals: the Talent Identification & Career Development (TI&CD) programme.

  • Placement statistics (EDHEC Masters Class of 2018): 98% of graduates hold a position adapted to their career plans, 88% of jobs have an international scope, 24% of MSc’s graduates in entrepreneurship crated their own business, 16% joined graduate programmes & VIE.

Student services

International Students Office

  • The office assists students with all administrative procedures before their arrival and also helps new students adapt to life in France. Staff are ready to help students with questions pertaining to the French medical system, medical insurance and housing options.

Settling in

  • We provide a free pick-up service to students from outside the European Union, from the
  • train station or airport in Lille to your housing location. Every year the International Students
  • Office organises orientation events and multicultural seminars to welcome foreign students to the EDHEC campus.

French classes

  • French courses are offered, free of charge, to facilitate the acculturation of international students.

Housing services

The International Students Office assists students in finding suitable accommodation on or off-campus.

Library services

The EDHEC Digital Library grants access 24/7 to an exceptional wealth of information and online resources: over 70,000 e-books, journals and reviews and student dissertations. It also enables remote access to over 50 specialised databases. EDHEC specifically subscribes to the Wharton Research Data Services/Wharton and Science Direct databases.

ICT services

Computer and internet access is offered.

Also, the EDHEC resource portal – MyEDHEC: Intended for students, MyEDHEC pools together all information required for the educational process and student life. MyEDHEC specifically provides access to course content, timetables, internal rules, internship agreements and offers, university partners abroad and support solutions.

Medical services

Medical cover can be offered to students in various forms. Preventive measures, including:

  • medical appointments, including a mandatory check-up;
  • healthy lifestyle advice;
  • screenings for AIDS, etc.

As well as care including:

  • general medical appointments;
  • gynaecological appointments;
  • psychological consultations;
  • support call centres;
  • an introduction to sophrology;
  • psychological consultations.

Campus life

  • The Lille Campus, which is eco-friendly, entrepreneurial and within easy access of the city, embodies both the dynamism of the EDHEC Business School and its innovative strategy. The campus welcomes 4,000 students (one third of whom come from abroad) every year, and provides cutting-edge equipment such as its digital networked library and its trading room, which is a key factor in the learning-by-experience system. 
  • The Nice campus, which is conveniently located close to the city centre and the airport, is fully equipped with all the resources that encourage outstanding learning and optimal personal development. The Nice Campus offers all EDHEC initial training activities.

Sports facilities

The Lille Campus offers its students 3,200 m² of sports facilities, including a swimming pool, a sports hall, a dance studio, a squash court and a gym. Everyone can practise the sport they love: over 20 sporting disciplines are on offer, including weekly training sessions led by qualified teachers. These facilities are open to the School’s students and also to staff, who can therefore take part in their favourite sport as a leisure activity outside lecture hours.

Even though its campus is located in the city centre, Nice also offers sports facilities, including a dojo, a dance studio and a gym. In addition, the campus has formed many partnerships with sports clubs in the area.

Initiatives backed by the students, which form an integral part of its educational programme, are a direct expression of the School’s values, and a strong driver for developing a spirit of enterprise.
