Overview
Design thinking is core to many of the most successful businesses, and combines critical thinking and creativity to solve problems. Design thinking for innovation teaches you how to apply the best creative and analytical tools to develop real solutions for real needs, including personas, empathy mapping, prototyping and iteration models.
The Design Thinking for Innovation from RMIT University encourages you to think differently. You will learn the techniques that allow you to solve the right problem, in the right way and put yourself in your customers' shoes. Throughout the course, you will work on your own problem and complete a design thinking project that you can present back to your organisation, start-up, or peers. Change your mindset to focus on solutions and boost creativity in your workplace.
How it works
Throughout the course, you’ll work on your own problem statement and complete your own design thinking project that you'll pitch to your mentor. You will explain your design thinking solution and the process that guided your findings. You'll be able to take your project with you and present back to your organisation, start-up or peers.
