Overview

During this programme, you will explore how projects are developed, commercialised and financed, with a focus on contractual frameworks, risk allocation and financial structuring. Topics include electricity market design, power purchase agreements, financial modelling and investment approaches for renewable energy assets.

The course also examines alternative financing approaches, including corporate finance, blended finance and development finance, before turning to emerging business models, energy storage and system integration. You will gain practical frameworks for understanding financing and investment decisions in a changing energy landscape.

Upon completion of the Certified Expert in Applied Renewable Energy Finance , participants will be able to:
