Overview
English for Careers Students at Twin English Centre Dublin will take a short on-line occupational interests inventory which will generate a list of jobs or professions in which they are interested.
Learning outcomes
Using this as a basis students will learn the language and structures needed to discuss the personality needed for various professions, the qualifications needed, the type of work involved.
Teacher-led walking tour in city centre on the first afternoon included.
All Alpha teachers will be University graduates with a post graduate qualification in ELT.
The teachers directing this programme will also have had experience in the world of work outside of language teaching
Programme Structure
Course includes:
- All the areas of language learning will be covered but there will be more focus on listening and speaking than on reading and writing.
- Classes will include some project work to be done in pairs or small groups and presented on their last morning in class.
