Overview
Through the Introduction to Financial Markets and Trading programme from London Academy of Trading you will lay a foundation for your trading journey and become familiar with the daily activities of a trader. Technically analyse and evaluate macroeconomic data releases and upgrade your skill set so you have everything you need to trade successfully.
Whether your interests lie in commodities, stock indices, equities, forex, or other assets, this course will educate you on every aspect and consolidate your understanding of how they are all related.
Upon successful course completion, you’ll have an understanding of financial markets and the knowledge needed to kick-start your journey in trading.
LAT's expert faculty comprises experienced traders who have worked for major financial institutions, including HSBC, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, and Bloomberg, and are available ten hours a day for trading support and guidance. Lecturing and mentoring duties are shared between the team to ensure that you can receive 1:1 support and enjoy a stimulating and interactive experience throughout the course.

We also host three daily webinars where our experts analyse the markets, answer questions, and stimulate discussions to enhance the learning process.

Entry requirements for all LAT programmes:
- A completed and signed application form
- A copy of your passport / proof of ID / Birth Certificate
- A scanned copy of a recent passport-sized colour photograph
- Proof of education qualifications
- Proof of English proficiency, if required
- Note: All documents are to be provided in English.
International Students
- Scanned copies of your diplomas and certified translation
- Scanned copies of your certified transcripts
- Proof of English language proficiency IELTS 5.5 or equivalents
Candidates who studied an undergraduate degree in the medium of English in a majority English – speaking country can provide a letter from their university confirming this as evidence of their English proficiency.
All other students:
- A minimum level 3 qualification or an interview with our Academic Dean, Paddy Osborn Fully completed LAT application form
