Young Filmmakers Academy (Non-residential) is an intensive non-residential course for 14-17-year-olds who are passionate about film, television and online media, and would like to develop their creative skills over summer holidays. The Young Filmmakers Academy course is offered by MetFilm School.

  • Get involved in a variety of exercises and roles that allow you to understand the core skills required for screen content creation
  • Learn how to write scenes, use a camera and lighting, work with actors, record sound and edit your video content using professional software
  • Attend classes in Met’s campus at the famous Ealing Studios, known for productions such as Shaun of The Dead, Notting Hill, Downton Abbey and many others
  • Receive support from professional tutors who know the latest creative trends and techniques in the industry
