Overview
We are delighted to offer this opportunity for students to study at the University of Warwick for an exciting ten-night Summer School which will encompass quality Warwick teaching, guest lectures and a fun social and cultural programme.
Students will experience living and studying on the beautiful Warwick campus and experience our amazing capital city and its top sights.
The Warwick Pre-University Summer School programme is offered by the University of Warwick.
You will:
- experience a taste of Warwick with like-minded peers at one of the UK’s highest ranked universities
- enjoy nine nights on Warwick’s beautiful self-contained campus
- spend one night and two days in London, including lots of time to enjoy the capital city and a visit to a top London University
- choose from two courses taught by top Warwick faculty - Economics and Finance or A Taste of Social Sciences
- live alongside Warwick student ambassadors fully participating in the programme
- visit the famous University City of Oxford
- have a great mix of academic and personal development sessions as well as social and cultural activities
- experience a fully catered programme with no hidden costs
Programme Structure
The Pre-University Summer School academic content includes:
- 19 hours of academic teaching and professional skills development
- A guest lecture with Simon Gilbert, award winning author and political reporter
- A campus tour with current students
- Advice and guidance on applying to study at university and personal statements
- A visit to a top London University
- A chance to see the University City of Oxford and see inside a college
- A talk from Anisha Bhavnani, a Communication and Change Analyst and Warwick Alumni (EPAIS)
- The chance to live alongside and be mentored by current Warwick students
