- Globalisation has had a huge impact on trade, culture, competition, and the environment. Exports today are 40x larger than they were in 1913, and the value of exported goods is around 25% of GDP worldwide.
- This trade generates efficiency gains and offers opportunities for economic growth. However, studies have also shown its effects on cost of living and jobs.
