Overview
The Summer School in the Russian Language and Culture course is offered by ITMO University,
For online mode
- Online training is conducted in Zoom.
- Classes are four academic hours long (one academic hour is equal to 45 minutes) and are held on business days.
- Each course lasts for one week (20 academic hours), and worth 2 ECTS. The course includes project work and extracurricular activities.
- The online format of the school allows students to choose the most convenient time for classes from 9 am to 6 pm (GMT+3). The latest class can be held from 6 to 9 pm (GMT+3).
- Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive an official ITMO certificate.
For on-campus mode
- Classes are held on business days from 10 am to 1 pm.
- Each course lasts for one week (20 academic hours), and worth 2 ECTS. The course includes project work and extracurricular activities.
- Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive an official ITMO certificate.

- Submit your passport copy to e.rassolenko@itmo.ru.
- Receive confirmation of admission and personal learning agreement from an ITMO coordinator.
- Pay the tuition fee at the official payment website.
- Receive a visa invitation letter.
- Get a Russian visa in your country.
- Book your own accommodation or indicate your accommodation preferences from options offered by ITMO.
- Purchase your tickets to St. Petersburg, Russia.
- Get assigned to a buddy (ITMO University student) who will pick you up at the airport, help you with accommodation, course registration and any other questions.
