The Architectural Drawing Level 1 course at the University of the Arts London (UAL) will take you through the entire architectural design process, from conceptualization to final presentation, including techniques such as sketching, technical drawing, and material experimentation.

- Sketchbook or notebook (A4 or A3 sizes are ideal)
- Sketching pencils, a set of at least 3 (HB, B, H)
- Pens for sketching, Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and thicker. Preferably black
- Sharpener
- Eraser
- Scale Rule with the following scales: 1:1/1:100, 1:20/1:200, 1:5/1:50, 1:1250/1:2500
- Tape measure
- A3 tracing pad (minimum 60 gsm - but a heavier weight may be better as it is more forgiving)
- Adjustable set square (20 cm minimum)
- Isometric graph paper pad, size A4
