Overview
What you will study:
The CAS International Competition Law, Regulatory and Compliance program provided by ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences consists of two consecutive modules. The program is diverse employs a range of teaching and learning methods, in particular:
- Lectures and discussions with renowned industry experts, public authorities, and scholars
- Practical exercises and case studies
- Individual and group assignments
- The languages of instruction are French and English.
After completing the program:
- you will understand the economic fundamentals as well as the tasks and objectives of antitrust and regulatory law;
- you will be familiar with the legal framework and legal sources of international competition law and have expanded your expertise in state aid law and public procurement law;
- you will be able to analyze legal and regulatory issues and assess their impact on your business; and
- you will understand the importance of compliance programs to minimize antitrust and regulatory risks and be able to develop compliance programs independently.

- Special features of selected regulated industries
- Interaction with regulatory authorities and regulatory affairs
- Best practice in the preparation of compliance programs
- Special features of compliance in public companies
- Special compliance requirements in regulated markets
