Overview
What you will study
Participants of ETH Zurich - Swiss Federal Institute of Technology's Applied Manufacturing Technology course will learn about the most important processes and advanced technologies driving the transition to Industry 4.0 and how they are being applied in practice to develop new and innovative products across various industries. The programme consists of four modules. The first two modules are devoted to understanding manufacturing processes and production systems, including automation systems and robotics. The next two modules focus on product development and the selection of materials.
Participants will gain an understanding of how manufacturing technologies are applied to products and operations in their industry, with an emphasis on new technologies that will have significant impact within the next five years, and to communicate more effectively with technical specialists.
