Overview
What you will study
The main goal of the Cyber Security course offered by ETH Zurich - Swiss Federal Institute of Technology is to introduce the basics of modern information security. Attendees of the programme gain a solid basis to understand today's challenges and problems associated with cyber security.
Cyber security is an umbrella term for a wide range of different topics. The purely technical view of cyber security is complemented with more policy-based views, where implications for the state, the industry, and the private sector are discussed.
Graduates should understand the complexity associated with many problems in cyber security and thus be well prepared to understand the diversity of aspects necessary to take sustainable and rational decisions to address cyber security related challenges.
