Overview
What you will study
Robotics offered by ETH Zurich - Swiss Federal Institute of Technology is a personalised advanced training programme in the field of robotics and AI. The advanced training builds on top of the industrial experience of individual participants, expanding and updating the knowledge and skills with cutting-edge developments and research in robotics and AI. A personalised study plan is designed in conjunction with a tutor to define the research projects, take part of ETH courses or impart seminars.
Participants deepen and update their knowledge with the latest advancements in robotics and AI research. Thus, a successful graduate from the CAS ETH Robotics is able to exploit effectively this knowledge as an industrial expert.
The interest and needs of the participant are taking into account for her/his personalised study plan by the tutor in order to meet her/his professional developmental goals.
Programme Structure
The program focuses on:
Research Project:
- The participant carries out a research project in the lab of the tutor. Together with the tutor, the project topic may be chosen as such with an immediate link to the participant's company or might touch upon a totally new area of interest.
Lectures:
- Participants can undertake lectures to acquire the necessary prerequisites depending on the chosen project, and to deepen their know-how in the state of the art in robotics and AI. The ETH course catalogue (VVZ) gives a detailed overview of the courses that are currently being offered.
Seminars:
- Participants are invited to share their practical industrial experience to support a fruitful bidirectional knowledge transfer between industry and ETH Zurich.
