The International Relations and Diplomacy programme offered by Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations are designed for busy professionals from both the public and the private sector who seek to have a better understanding of International Relations by developing their practical skills and deepen their knowledge of international politics and diplomatic issues. Programme Structure
The program focuses on:
- Governing global issues: trade, health, migration, human rights, climate change
- New dimensions of foreign policy, geopolitics, and global security: global security, foreign policy, trade and development, conflict resolution, arms control
- Fundamental skills for the leaders of tomorrow: leadership, strategic thinking, decision-making, policy-making, project management, teamwork, conflict management and resolution, negotiations, cross-cultural communication

General requirements
- Students are required to have completed a recognised school leaving certificate, including but not limited to: the International Baccalaureate Programme, A-Levels, High School Diploma, French Baccalauréat, Swiss Maturité, Abitur, etc., to be able to apply for the Executive Diploma or Certificate in IR Programme.
Also required:
- Colour copy of passport photo page
- A current CV
- A motivation letter (550 words approximately)
- Transcripts and diplomas
- Proof of English language proficiency (or waiver, if applicable*)
- All applicants will also be asked to participate in a brief interview, conducted by the admissions officer (online or in-person).
