At the end of this Mental Well-being - Riding the Waves of Change Smiling course at the Singapore University of Social Sciences, participants will be able to apply practical tips, identify positive attitudes and mindsets to cultivate for enhancing and sustaining mental well-being, namely:- How to maintain mental well-being as we age
- Medical and professional care: What, Where, When and How to seek help
- Accepting mental health issues as being a common human experience, overcoming the prejudices and stigma against them
- Confident that anyone can overcome mental health issues with a positive mindset and some external help
- Have empathy and motivation to reach out to and connect with families and friends as a means to strengthen mental well-being in oneself and others
