Overview
What you will study
The main objective of the Basic electronics analog and digital course offered by Khalifa University is to be acquainted with fundamentals of electronics (analog and digital electronics) which are required in various electronic equipment (e.g. instruments, actuators, and telemetry systems) deployed in oil and gas fields. Practical hands on sessions may be conducted to design various analog and digital circuits.
Learning Objectives
- Be familiar with various electronic circuits that are required in field electronic equipment.
- Design and develop various electronics circuits that are relevant to electronic instruments found in oil and gas industry.
- Understand the source and mitigation techniques of various types of noises in electronic systems.
- Be acquainted with the hardware features and instructions set of an on the shelf processor.
