- This Intermediate Mandarin course at University of Johannesburg is a continuation of the Introductory Mandarin courses. This course enables learners to further develop their language skills.

- This course is the continuation of the previous course, Intermediate Mandarin (Module 1).
- It enables learners to further develop their language skills as well as the ability to communicate in social settings.
- By the end of the course students should be able to grasp more grammatical concepts and sentence structures systematically, which will enable them to communicate more fluently.
- Students should be able to recognize most of the characters in the textbook and be able to write more characters.
