This Intermediate Mandarin course at University of Johannesburg is a continuation of the Introductory Mandarin courses. This course enables learners to further develop their language skills.

By the end of the course students should be able to grasp more grammatical concepts and sentence structures, which will enable them to understand more complex sentences and to communicate more fluently.

Programme Structure

Curriculum:

This course is the continuation of the previous course, Intermediate Mandarin (Module 1).

It enables learners to further develop their language skills as well as the ability to communicate in social settings.

By the end of the course students should be able to grasp more grammatical concepts and sentence structures systematically, which will enable them to communicate more fluently.

Students should be able to recognize most of the characters in the textbook and be able to write more characters.
