What you will learn
The learning objectives of the Epilepsy Surgery Symposium offered by Johns Hopkins University are:
- Outline current advances of newer surgical techniques (memory sparing, minimally invasive and neuromodulatory approaches) in epilepsy surgery.
- Describe the process and benefits of resective epilepsy surgery for patients with focal seizures.
- Identify cohorts of patients who are surgical candidates per the newest ILAE guidelines and components of surgical workup.
