What you will study
The Remit and Its Implementation course offered by European University Institute (EUI) will be held in Bruges. The course starts with basic introductory material and then dives into the scope and purpose of REMIT and its implementation. Instructors will alternate between frontal lectures and case studies and group activities to enhance the discussion and improve the learning experience.

- Explain the purpose of REMIT in deterring and detecting market abuses;
- Illustrate the main concepts of market abuse, market manipulation and insider trading under REMIT;
- Apply these concepts in practice through case studies;
- Analyse the experiences of different authorities and compare how they cooperate in market surveillance.
