Overview
After finishing the Sustainable Finance course offered by Renewables Academy (RENAC) AG you will be able to link international policy within the UN Framework Convention of Climate Change (UNFCCC) process with policies at the national level.
You will understand the complexity of policy dimensions where an inconsistent mix of tools can lead to policy failure. Further, you will be able to assess the potential of a well-designed policy mix to promote sustainable finance into low-carbon technologies, while also taking into account their social implications among a diverse set of stakeholders. Building on the existing policy and market framework, this course emphasizes a critical reflection of the challenges that lie ahead and to what extent ongoing policy initiatives are sufficient to address these and where further action is required. This will deepen and broaden your knowledge by allowing you to contextualize the rapidly changing topic of sustainable finance both now and in the future.
