Overview
What you will study
The Airline Finance course offered by City, University of London structure begins by looking at the requirements that businesses have in managing their operations, particularly those that relate to financial performance.
Then the different aspects of finance are reviewed and in particular how financial information is obtained and presented. Principally this means understanding financial statements, profit and loss accounts, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
This then allows the course to focus on the airline industry in particular with case studies to be analysed to see how the knowledge obtained in this course can be used to enable appropriate performance.
