What you will study
The Airline Maintenance course offered by City, University of London will help you be able to formulate the demands and priorities of the airline operational environment, and understand the demands placed on aircraft maintenance through requirements for airline, airport and international operations. You will be able to analyse the economics of aircraft maintenance, and how to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Programme Structure
The program focuses on:
- Define and discuss the roles and responsibilities of the regulators, manufacturers, owners, operators and maintenance organisations with respect to aircraft engineering and maintenance.
- Critically analyse how an aircraft maintenance programme is created and structured.
- Synthesize strategic approaches to managing the various maintenance levels: operational, scheduled and major; and identify the key deliverables from aircraft maintenance managers.
