Dalhousie University's Microeconomics for Business course is designed for non-economics majors to learn about fundamental economic principles through thoughtful and engaging scenarios that we encounter every day, such as Taylor Swift’s decision to forgo school and Uber’s surge pricing to better understand how limited resources drive the decision-making process.

Overview

Economics is in everything - from the long line at Tim Horton’s, to the shortage of toilet rolls during a pandemic.  In this course, you will learn how to understand and apply the core concepts instead of math-heavy problem sets.

What You Will Learn

Upon completion of this course, learners will be able to:
