Upon completion of this Mission, Culture, and Governance in Higher Education course at the University of Manitoba, you should be able to:
- appreciate how mission relates to institutional vision, values, and strategic directions
- analyze institutional culture based on their unique history, location, structure, leadership, roles of faculty and administration, mission, and governance
- discuss the functions of governance, shared and collegial governance, bi-cameral and uni-cameral governance in post-secondary education
