The University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) Department of Architecture and the Built Environment are pleased to offer a suite of additional postgraduate level modules in Real Estate Management as continuing professional development (CPD), accredited by theRoyal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Real Estate Economics and Valuations modules are offered as on campus, or as distance learning, over an eleven-week period. If you chose the distance learning mode you will be able to progress through them in your own time, while live webinar sessions will provide an opportunity for you to discuss the materials in more depth.

  • The module is designed to provide a quick introduction to a broad range of economic concepts and methods of valuation, so that you acquire the ability to be able to read property markets and understand the related data before manipulating the different methods of valuation.
  • In other words, you are encouraged to recognise that the process of valuation does not occur in a vacuum; the economic context is everything!
