I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the University, the professors have always been helpful, the campus is always busy and there is always something to do, such as go to the Students Union, overall the experience was very positive
I studied here and overall my experience was positive. The professors were knowledgeable and supportive, and the courses were well-structured and engaging. The campus facilities were good and helpful for students. I would recommend this university to anyone interested.
Choosing where to study can feel overwhelming, so having access to real student experiences is genuinely useful. My experience studying Media Communications at UWE has been mostly positive and has helped me grow both academically and creatively. The course covers a good mix of theory and practical work, particularly around digital media, communication strategies, and contemporary media culture. Modules encouraged critical thinking while also allowing space for creative exploration, which I found motivating. The teaching staff were generally supportive and approachable, especially when it came to feedback and guidance on projects. One of the strengths of the course is its relevance to current media and digital industries. Group work and independent projects helped me develop communication, teamwork, and digital skills that feel transferable beyond university. That said, some modules could benefit from clearer structure and more consistent organisation, especially during busier assessment periods. Like any university experience, a lot depends on how proactive you are � students who engage, ask questions, and seek opportunities tend to get the most out of the course. Overall, I would recommend this course to students interested in media, communication, and digital culture, especially those who enjoy balancing academic discussion with creative practice.
