What you will learn
On successful completion of the Mechatronics for Autonomous Vehicles and Robotics course offered by Cranfield University you will be able to:
- Identify the main components of robotics and autonomous systems
- Recognize key operational blocks within a typical mechatronics control system
- Identify and understand the capabilities of various active/passive sensors and related hardware interfaces.
- Integrate sensors and actuators in a control system with OTS components
- Identify and evaluate the degree of interactions with the processor and select the hardware for the optimum performance.
- Identify software/firmware control blocks and the interaction with hardware
