Foundations of Sustainable Development

Overview

From learning the interactions between sustainable economic growth and environmental sustainability to understanding activities that drive climate change and the boundaries set by the planet’s natural resources, this professional sustainable development certificate will help you gain the skills and knowledge necessary to tackle global challenges.

In each sustainable development course, you will look into the human activities that impact sustainability and learn about initiatives for climate action. You will be taught by world-renowned economist and pioneer in the field of Sustainable Development, Jeffrey Sachs and Co-Director at Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, Johan Rockström along with other experts from the Stockholm Resilience Center.
