Context

This Wind Power course offered by Renewable Energy Institute covers entry level theory before building upon this with more advanced content.

The course equips participants with the latest knowledge on how to evaluate the benefits of adopting wind power technology, including factors affecting the design of a wind power installation and taking advantage of the incentives available. The programme will cover large scale offshore and onshore wind turbine selection, deployment and operation, alongside small/medium scale off-grid and hybrid systems. You will also learn about the stages of planning and permissions, with focus on considerations ranging from siting to the environmental and economic impact of new installations.

This course has been studied by participants from multinational organisations, small & medium enterprises, NGOs, educational establishments and governmental bodies.

Upon completion of this course, participants will receive a certificate of participation and be eligible to take the GMC exam.
