- This immersive program in ESRA New York - One Year Filmmaking Programme at ESRA International Film School, offered in three options (cinema, sound, animation), prepares students to enter the United States by learning the methods of American industry. Taught entirely in English, it is supervised by working professionals and teachers from prestigious universities, and relies on solid professional partnerships.
- In cinema, students participate in the making of films in real conditions, from writing to post-production. With the support of partners like ARRI RENTALS, they experiment with all stages of production and develop valuable experience in the industry.
- In sound, students work on films or musical production. Accompanied by partners such as Manhattan Beach Records, they confront the demands of professional productions and refine their technical and artistic know-how.
- In animation, students design and produce an original animated film. This immersion, supported by collaborations with players in the sector, allows them to master each stage of production and prepare for their future careers in international studios.
Programme Structure
Course include:
- First Term: a semester of courses, practical work and writing workshops with professionals and teachers from American universities.
- Second Term: the preparation and filming of a short film in partnership with ARRI Rentals in professional conditions entirely in English with an American casting which ends with the screening in a New York cinema of the films produced in front of a jury made up of professionals.
- Third Term: two months minimum internship in any American state (California, Florida, New York for example).
