Over this online Patient and Public Involvement in Research (PPI) Summer School course offered by The University of Edinburgh they will provide you with the confidence and skills in PPI to enable you to undertake your first PPI activity or improve your current practice.
The course consists of three half-day sessions with a mix of taught material and interactive activities.
You will learn the theoretical underpinnings of PPI practice and understand practical approaches to overcoming common issues. Day four of the course is an optional opportunity to meet 1:1 with the experienced team members to discuss your project and troubleshoot anything you’re struggling with.
By the end of this course, you will have gained an in-depth understanding of how to involve public partners in research in a constructive and inclusive way.
