This Level 6 qualification is ideal for experienced teachers and is highly practical in nature. The Trinity CertPT is designed to advance professional development by helping teachers evaluate, adapt, and create teaching materials tailored to their own unique teaching contexts.
What’s included
You can take the Trinity CertPT as an add-on to the Teachers of English Course at St Giles International. You'll then complete the Trinity CertPT tasks within 12 weeks of the end of the TEC course, with guided self-study and remote support from your personal tutor.

- Adapting a teaching resource for your learners
- Creating a new original resource for your learners
- Reflecting on the use of this resource with your learners

- An initial teacher education qualification, (e.g. a local state sector teaching qualification from your home country or a CELTA), plus a minimum of 6 months teaching experience
- Candidates without a teacher education qualification must have at least two years of teaching experience and a relevant background that enables them to successfully complete the assessment tasks to the required standard.
