- learn how this is converted into a laser-cut part and first prototype
- explore the benefits and limitations of simple laser-cut parts

- see a demonstration of a part being CNC machined and learn about the benefits and limitations of this process
- handle samples from different 3D printing technologies, the costs associated and learn where you can obtain 3D printed parts
- learn about what you can expect from bureau services
- understand key rules for designing for CNC machining and 3D printing
- develop a slightly more complex 3D CAD model
- create a 3D print of your CAD model
