Overview
Features
The Practice Educator Training - Stage 2 course at the University of Bedfordshire deepens participants’ ability to apply the BASW Practice Educator Professional Standards (PEPS) at a more advanced level, with a strong focus on professional judgement, evidence-informed assessment, and the ability to manage increasingly complex learning situations.
The course strengthens confidence in working with a wide range of learners, supporting progression, and making robust assessment decisions that stand up to scrutiny.
It also develops the educator’s capacity to integrate theory, research, and reflective practice into supervision, while contributing to quality assurance processes that uphold high standards in practice learning.
