What you will learn
This Leadership and Supervision in Healthcare course at the University of Bedfordshire will appropriately challenge and develop your current leadership and management practice. Course contents are based upon the current challenges in healthcare delivery in the 21st century.
The course primarily seeks to address a key question: what are the strategies to enable healthcare leaders balance the requirements of an increasingly complex and evolving healthcare environment with the challenges of meeting patient expectations?
Programme Structure
The aims of this course are to:- Equip the student with the knowledge and skills to utilise leadership theory and research supporting your personal and professional development as a leader
- Prepare you to lead the challenges of team dynamics, team conflict and team development within changing contexts of healthcare environment and across professional boundaries
- Develop strategies to support leaders to ethically manage available time, finance and resources as well as developing resilience in self and others
