General requirements
Entrants must:- Be a registered pharmacist with the GPhC or the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland (PSNI).
- Be in good standing with their regulator.
- Have relevant clinical and patient-facing experience in a UK pharmacy setting.
- Have identified an area of clinical practice in which to develop their prescribing skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to recognise, understand and articulate the skills and attributes required by a prescriber.
- Have identified a Designated Prescribing Practitioner (DPP) with training and experience appropriate to their role.
- Have a DBS and appropriate liability insurance in place for the period of learning in practice.
