You’ll start with an introduction to industry standard blocks, and be taken step-by-step through the core skills of pattern reading and style interpretation.
First you will focus on the menswear body blockand sleeve, learning the basics of pattern manipulation before moving on to create menswear patterns for a variety of garments.
You’ll learn how to alter patterns for fit, as well as how to change the look of a garment to create different silhouettes and for working with different fabrics.
