At Chemeketa, you can earn a transfer degree to a four-year university or obtain a two-year technical degree to begin a career. Among the most popular transfer programs include Business, Social Sciences, and Engineering. Some of our outstanding two-year degree programs include computer Electronics, Graphic Design, Hospitality Management, Nursing, and Wine Studies, and Intensive English.

Chemeketa is a safe and inviting place for international students. Chemeketa offers an outstanding range of services and activities to help students get started like our Orientation, housing and arrival assistance, and our regular trips and events. Other services are designed to help students succeed, including academic tutoring, writing and math assistance, drop-in advising, conversation tables, employment opportunities and clubs.
We strongly recommend homestay for the first term as an international student. It is one of the quickest ways for students toimprove their English language skills because they will have a family that is always available to talk to them; as well as help them get to know the area. Our host families live all over the Salem-Keizer area and all live near a bus stop so that students can have easy transportation to the college. Homestay forms will be e-mailed to students once they have completed their application.

The Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities regulates Chemeketa so you can be assured of a quality education. Our status as an accredited college qualifies us for federal financial aid and funds for teaching and services.
