Key facts:
The Strategic Leadership program at Maastricht School of Management deals with processes aimed at setting the organization’s direction, objectives and priorities in the ever-changing landscape. It also deals with focusing the internal energy and resources to achieve the objectives and at aligning internal and external stakeholders. Strategic management and leadership is about analysis, decision making and planning. This all with the aim to implement strategic plans to realize the desired performance.Both private and public organizations need to adapt to numerous outside world developments such as technological developments, economic development, the need for more social responsibility and increased international competition.
Accreditation
Maastricht School of Management (MSM) is part of the Maastricht University School of Business and Economics (SBE). SBE has been awarded three prestigious accreditations, AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA, resulting in what is known as the Triple Crown accreditation. Only 1% of business schools worldwide can boast this honour, many of which are SBE partner institutes.

General requirements
- Applicants should have the ability to function academically and professionally at Bachelor level.
- Because it is an interactive programme, candidates should have an adequate level of spoken and written English (C1 of C2 level) to be able to follow the programme and to actively participate. If it turns out and applicant does not have the sufficient level of English, a certificate will not be awarded.
- Personal résumé / CV demonstrating the minimum requirement of at least 5 - 7 years of relevant working experience, obtained after your bachelor’s degree
- Copy of your passport or your EU identity card (valid on the start date of your programme)
- To submit your online application, you have to complete all required fields and upload the necessary documents.
- If your application is complete, we will invite you for an interview with two MSM staff members (Zoom). This interview will give MSM the chance to learn more about your individual motivations for joining the programme.
